What is a Honeypot?
A Honeypot is a computer system that acts as a false target.
Once the hacker has penetrated the computer network he will dedicate himself to exploring the local network in search of useful information and to do so he will hack some or all of the PCs within the network.
The Honeypot, acting as a target, lets the hacker get inside and in doing so alerts the network managers.
MultiHoneypot has been completely revised.
Not only does it perform the traditional Honeypot task, but it also fully integrates MultiAntivirus and MultiFirewall modified so that threats are not eliminated, but simply alerted.
This is useful if the hacker decides not to use the preferential channels that the Honeypot provides, i.e. open ports and listening applications ready to respond.
